About the Lollipop Chart
A lollipop chart replaces the bars of a bar chart with thin lines (stems) topped with dots (the lollipop). This reduces visual weight and makes it easier to compare many values without the heavy ink load of filled bars.
Lollipop charts work best when you have 10–30 categories and want a clean, minimal look. They are especially effective for showing deviations from a baseline or ranking a large set of items.
