About the Slope Chart
A slope chart (also called a slopegraph) connects values at two time points with a sloped line per entity. The angle and direction of the slope make it immediately clear which items increased, decreased, or stayed flat — and by how much.
Slope charts shine for before/after comparisons: survey results, year-over-year changes, or pre/post intervention data. They are essentially a subset of a multi-line chart but optimized for exactly two time points.
